Cosmic Manipulation | User can create, shape and manipulate cosmic energies to produce nearly any effect they desire, including the molecular restructuring and transmutation of matter, the manipulation of matter across space and time, the creation of force fields, the creation of inter-dimensional portals and vortices, telekinesis, and cosmic awareness. User can call upon the comets, meteors, asteroids, moons, planets, stars, nebula, neutron stars, quasars, black holes, white holes, and dark matter. They can generate stellar winds, solar flares, cosmic storms and invoke meteor showers. | Able to create portals without spells, as well as telekinesis. This power is the most destructive, both on Asteria and her surrounding world. If she were ever able to access the full extent of her powers, it may have immense consequences on her, such as death or indefinite harm. | Asteria is unaware the extent of this ability. She has merely scratched the surface of what she is capable of. Currently, she is only able to manifest portal creation and telekinesis. Other forms are not derived from this ability, but rather spells and magic (ex. creation of force fields through ritual and spells). Depending on the item she is attempting to lift, it can create an extreme strain on her. |
Time Manipulation | The user can manipulate time in the general area or for a specific target in various ways, with the most basic of acts revolving around accelerating, slowing, stopping and even rewinding or looping time. The range of the affected area is proportional to the mastery of the user, with those at higher levels being able affect the entire space-time continuum. | This power, like the one above (Cosmic Manipulation) originates from her realm. While many other people of her home realm are able to tap into such an ability, it usually only manifests as slower-aging, enhanced speed, and regeneration. Asteria, due to the experiments conducted on her, is able to access higher forms of this ability, such as: her near immortality, manipulating the age of items or beings and ability to read the history of an item or being. The latter both require a form of contact with the object, but she has no ability to control what exactly she perceives. | Asteria has not attempted to access more complex forms of this ability. She does not exercise the practice of altering timelines. Although she remains immortal, she is susceptible to bodily harm and can be gravely injured. Her efforts to access the 'history' of an object require her to experiences scenarios first-hand, exposing her to potentially traumatic events that she will experiences as if they happened to her. |
Magic | The user has access to magic, the use of rituals, symbols, actions, gestures, language, etc., to exploit supernatural forces to varying degrees, with only their skill, personal power-level, imagination/knowledge, and/or morality to define the borders. Given the flexibility of magic, its users have essentially limitless possibilities for what they can accomplish. | Asteria is prodigial with more complex spells, often having a simpler time manifesting them. However, simple spells are considerably more susceptible to backfiring on her. She has immense difficulty properly channeling elemental power. | Spells or magic that require her to function as a medium, such as controlling elements, are not able to conducted without a secondary medium, such as a wand, staff, or other magically embued artifact. Without such an item, Asteria is unable to properly maintain control, leading to unintended damage or consequences. |
Heightened Senses | The user has extremely accurate senses, allowing them to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel better than an average member mortal. | Those born in her realm possess heightened senses. | Anything that can dull her senses: magic, supernatural drugs. Her senses are better than most humans, but can easily be outshined by other creatures/species. Her left eye is considerably blinded by the failed rune (seen as a scar across her the area), which explains the grayed out color of it. |

Backstory
--- WORK IN PROGRESS, MAJOR CHANGES MAY OCCUR ---
Asteria is the daughter of two imfamous mages. However, her "birth" leans more into the idea of creation rather than a human-esque birth. Her parents made Asteria with the sheer intention to become a weapon, and therefore, a sorceress stronger than them.
Her parents, after centuries of searching, discovered a book belonging to pre-historic gods. The power contained inside the books, however, was too much for any mortal mind to handle. Although they gained unlimited knowledge, their mental sanity and morality gradually frayed until power became their only desire. A collection of divine runes was included in the book, but it required an uncorrupted vessel to function properly.
And there came young Asteria's purpose. Albeit extremely painful to child Asteria, they bestowed an array of abilities and gifts onto her by etching runes across her body. Majority of them remain unseen, unless Asteria wills them to become visible or if she is exercising extreme levels of magic usage. The runes were a method to heighten her powers beyond mortal capacities, eventually granting her near immortality. However, she is still tethered to a mortal body and is not immune to bodily harm.
The runes may have extended her magical capacities, but they created a schism between her body and soul. Although her parents never uncovered her secondary form, they sensed something darker brewing beneath the surface. Unfortunately, their tactics of training only became more tortorous as she grew older until she finally rebeled against her parents. The last thing she carries of them is the pair of matching rings they wore. She later charmed them to help her remain hidden and unable to be tracked through spells.
Immediately after escaping, Asteria delved into the human world in an effort to learn more about them. For several centuries, she was a sorceress that wandered the human realm and often helped those who crossed her path. She was a renowned healer and eventually established a coven of orphaned, captured, or abused women.
Her coven consisted of twelve other women, ranging in ages of early adolescence to elder figures. Naturally a caring and devoted soul, Asteria considered the coven her family and home. They were taught magic and saved from their original situation. Later, she bonded with a patron deity to grant the coven non-human protection. The deity and Asteria maintained a close connection, easily considered a symbiotic-relationship. Asteria functioned as the vessel for the deity, though their binding had many other facets to it.
Asteria lived peacefully with her coven for decades until witch hunters commenced to ravage the realm. With the backing of the Catholic church, it was nearly impossible to evade the hunters. The hunters managed to capture the coven and tied the witches to stakes in the center of the village. They were to be burned at the stake. But amid the flames beginning to swallow Asteria whole, the patron deity tapped into Asteria's rage and sadness. Her emotions were the deity's avenue to causing her non-human side to materialize. However, Asteria does not recall what occured. She simply saw the flames flooding her vision. . . Only to wake up in the ruins of the village burning.
Her connection with patron deity was severed during the deaths of her coven; as the coven leader, she experienced the anguish of every dying member. She remains haunted by their deaths, frequently blaming herself for her inability to protect the only people that mattered to her. Since then, she has withdrawn from humankind.
The little power she retained from the deity was used to create her home; it is an enchanted cabin caught between the human realm and the realm of where she was born. It exists in its own bubble, often appearing briefly in forests across the human realm to those that may accidentally stumble upon it. Although she has withdrawn from humans, she can still be reached through magical contact. She often is recruited by other supernatural creatures for aid.

In the beginning, Chaos and Balance were all that existed. Serpents tangled in an eternal dance. Lovers, companions, they could not exist without the other.
